Triquetra & Circle
SYMBOLIZES THE HOLY TRINITY Then God said,
"Let Us make man in Our image."
Genesis 1:26 NAS
The symbol of the Trinity is an illustration of the “Three in One.” The three arcs interwoven give a representation that says: three are together as one. While there are three separate arcs, they do not connect at any single point rather, they are continuously and simultaneously together.
The circle surrounding the Trinity is a symbolic representation of eternity, with no beginning and no ending. In this symbol, the Trinity and eternity are interwoven to symbolize the Trinity as it is, always was, and always will be.
" I am the Alpha and Omega," says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8 NAS
To understand the doctrine of the Trinity is to accept it by faith, and it is by faith that we accept the Trinity as: God the Holy Spirit. God has revealed this both through and by His Word.
"Come near to Me, listen to this: from the first I have not spoken in secret from the time it took place, I was there. And now the Lord God has sent Me, and His spirit."
Isaiah 48:16 NAS
