Prodigal
SYMBOLIZES PATIENCE AND FAITH
Wait for the Lord Be strong, and let your heart take courage and He shall strengthen your heart.
Psalms 27:14
Waiting is the hardest thing you will have to do as you wait on your “Prodigal” to return. Trying to understand why this child would seek a lifestyle of destruction is also hard. The lure of the world has caused this one to stray. Regardless of how long your child strays, God knows the path and the bumps it is going to take to bring him/her to the place of repentance.
Praying your “Prodigal” home will take patience and faith. Ask God to supply you with both. Do not give up on his/her return. Wait and pray expectantly. Ask God every day to do whatever it takes to bring this child back to Himself. Ask Him to protect and keep His hand on him/her.
Wear this piece as a reminder to pray daily for the “Prodigal” in your life. Place this one and this situation into the hands of God. Remember, no one can go further than God’s love and forgiveness will reach.
The cross symbolizes the place of change and forgiveness. The heart is symbolic of your love for the “Prodigal” in your life, as well as God’ love. The hand is a reminder that no one can go further than God’s love and forgiveness will reach.
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him.
Luke 15:20
