 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:27 

 God is our hope, refuge, strength, and peace.  He supplies a “peace” that does pass all understanding.

We were warned that in this world we would have trouble and heartache.  But the Lord gives peace in the face of adversity. 

 This day and time in which we live brings with it much stress and worry. In Christ, we can have peace and the encouragement to move forward.  Keep your eyes fixed on Him and He will supply your strength..

  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13 

 Whatever you may face, know that it has passed through God before it came to you.  For His glory, He will allow us to experience difficult times.  It is during those times that we trust not on our own understanding, but on His alone.  It is only during those times that we can experience that “peace that passes all understanding.”

  If we hope for what we do not see we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

Romans 8:25  

 Whatever you are going through, He can deliver you from it or through it.  His timing is perfect and His ways are not our ways.  He will accomplish that which He desires.

  Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
