Mercy

Symbol of love, healing and release

Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

 God is so merciful towards His people.  His love is shown by a constant outpouring of His mercy.  The greatest mercy ever given came at Calvary.  God’s love and compassion allows complete forgiveness of sin.

This life can hold afflictions and various trials; God’s mercy is a prayer away.

 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.

II Corinthians 4:17

 The cross is Mercy.  The stripes on the cross are a reminder of how much Mercy cost.  The circle in the center is symbolic of eternity.  One stripe.  One drop of blood.  “Mercy” for all eternity.
