Vine
SYMBOLIZES APART FROM CHRIST YOU CAN DO NOTHING

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser.”

The vine illustrates the need for Christ, as it shows that apart from Christ, we can do nothing. For what good is a branch to produce fruit if it has not the vine to draw nutrients from? To grow and be fruitful, one must be attached to the vine therefore, apart from the vine, the branch surely dies.

The vine also represents the need for regular time spent in the word of God. By His word, God can guide and direct your path, choices, actions, thoughts, and even desires.

 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit for apart from Me you can do nothing."
