Are you free? You do not need chains or slave cuffs to be held in bondage. The truth is, many are in bondage to things such as fear, unforgiveness, depression, drugs, alcohol, pornography, sexual immorality, hatred, money, and food. Anything that can or has become a habit in your life holds you in bondage. You have little or no control over things that have become habits. Only through prayer and the power of the cross can you truly be delivered and set free. You must repent and ask God to deliver you. God may choose to deliver you through it, rather than from it. His answer to your prayer of deliverance may be “Patience.” Ask God for the strength and power to see you through it. One day you will stand and give account to what the Lord has done for you. He will receive all the glory for the power you were given to overcome and endure. If you have already been delivered praise God!

Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name deliver us and forgive our sins for Your name’s sake.
