Butterfly

A butterfly is a beautiful symbol to describe resurrection and eternal life. A butterfly’s life is short, beautiful and in three stages that compare to the three stages of human life: First Stage: Caterpillar, not beautiful Second Stage: Cocoon, withdrawn from sight Third Stage: Emerges from the cocoon state a beautiful, mature, brightly colored butterfly, which takes flight and soars. Human First Stage: Sinner, not beautiful Second Stage: Death, buried in weakness Third Stage: Resurrection, from the tomb with new glorified bodies, taking flight with Jesus.

And the tombs were opened: and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.
